Collection Refresh Project Underway!

We are hard at work behind the scenes updating and refreshing our library collections!

What We're Doing:

Weeding & Updating: Removing outdated or damaged materials to make room for newer titles.
Book Repairs & Preservation: Applying new protective covers and repairing worn items.
Labeling & Cataloging: Printing clear spine labels and replacing damaged barcodes so books are easier to find and check out.

Where We're Starting: We are kicking off this project in the Children’s Section!

During this process, books are still available for checkout. If you need help finding an item while we work through the shelves, please ask a staff member!

Bowling Green Public Library strives to create a welcoming community space where everyone feels encouraged to read, learn, explore, and belong.

Whether you are visiting to check out a book, use a computer, attend a program, or simply spend time in a comfortable space, we are glad you are here.

Our library offers books, audiobooks, DVDs, public computers, free Wi-Fi, and access to materials through Missouri Evergreen, along with programs and services for all ages.
